Eclipse: Swimsuit Edition

On Tuesday March 8th at 17:54 PST we have a Solar Eclipse in 18’55 Pisces and the Moon is new at 17:57. For those of you with any planets or aspects between 14-24 degrees in the mutable signs of Virgo, Sagittarius, Gemini and Pisces, you’re going to need a bigger boat.

An Eclipse New Moon is jacked to the Nth degree. And consider that this New Moon is opposite Neptune’s ancient ruler, magnifying Jupiter, who has been doing a stint in Virgo. Where can I even begin with the Virgo-Pisces axis about which so much has been written?

Here’s what you need to do to make this a fabulous new start, one-on-one style with King Neptune while avoiding all scaly sea monster types. FIRST, know where the Pisces-Virgo axis falls in your chart, there’s no reason not to have this information, it’s free and takes 30 seconds and will help you get more accurate horoscopes here and elsewhere.

Eclipses focus on opposites signs at either end of the axis and furthering this duality, one side is brought into light and one is in darkness. Both Pisces and Virgo are involved in healing. On one end we have the Sun, Neptune, Chiron and Mercury lined up in Pisces and falling into shadow. At the other, we have the True Node and  Jupiter coming into reflected light. These helpers of the Zodiac embody the emotional and practical sides of the individual. Let’s grab our snorkels and dive into it with a tarot pull for each axis combination.

1st-7th Axis:  The Sun, reversed. Health problems could come up for healing, avoid skeevy hook-up scenarios. Sometimes reality looks depressing but then you realize, that’s not real either. Breakthrough!

2nd-8th Axis:  Strength, reversed. Watch your $! When we focus too much on ourselves, we see every imperfection. Who loves you bb? See if you can absorb your reflection through the eyes of those who really love you. If that’s not possible, find an affirmation that you love and repeat it three times in the mirror.

3rd-9th Axis:  7 of Pentacles. Don’t be afraid to let go and do a good clean-up, whether of your abode or your psyche. Do a New Moon vision board or if that’s too crafty for you, write out 6 to 9 goals you have or draw symbols of the same. Give a physical reality to your dreams.

4th-10th Axis:  8 of Swords, reversed. Toxic home or workplaces are the norm, and yet we spend our lives there. You have a chance to get free from one of them. Will you take it? Is it an actual change of scene or will you build a secret alter and subvert from within?

5th-11th Axis: The Emperor. Time to build a fire and figure out how to make those creative impulses a reality. Avoid falling in love with authority figures or authority itself. No one is going to save you, at least no one you can see. It’s destiny time for you, lovah!

6th-12th: Four of Cups. You’ve been running on fumes and it’s time to get back in the game. But which one? The ONLY one, get straight with yourself through meditation, contemplation and living right. It’s not too late. Start over today, from the inside.
